AI Legal Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructor (Contract)

Job Description

General Assembly is seeking an AI Legal Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructor to support content development, curriculum enhancement, and instruction for its learning programs. The role involves collaborating with learning designers and functional experts to create and deliver high-quality educational content. This is a remote-friendly, flexible contract role.Responsibilities include:

• Participating in pre-sale meetings and preparing materials to tailor learning solutions.
• Curating, designing, and contextualizing learning content.
• Facilitating engaging learning environments for students.
• Preparing lessons and guiding students in exercises and projects.

Requirements include:

• Familiarity with AI for contract analysis, review, and management.
• Understanding of AI-driven legal research and case prediction tools.
• Knowledge of compliance automation and regulatory technologies (RegTech).
• Ethical and privacy considerations for AI in legal contexts.
• AI applications in e-discovery and intellectual property management.
• 2+ years of professional experience in relevant fields.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or teaching others.
• Strong communication skills.
