Job Description
General Assembly is seeking an AI UX Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructor to support content development, curriculum enhancement, and instruction for their industry-leading learning programs. This role involves close collaboration with learning designers, project teams, and functional experts to create, refine, and deliver high-quality educational content that meets evolving industry needs. This is a remote-friendly, flexible contract role.Responsibilities include:
- Participating in pre-sale meetings to discuss industry insights and learning solutions.
- Preparing materials and insights to tailor learning solutions to client needs.
- Curating, designing, and contextualizing learning content.
- Collaborating with instructional designers and SMEs to develop curriculum.
- Facilitating engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
- Preparing lessons and materials, leveraging existing curriculum resources.
- Guiding students in completing exercises, labs, and projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Leveraging AI for adaptive user interfaces and personalized experiences.
- Integrating AI-powered user research tools for data-driven UX insights.
- Designing user flows that incorporate conversational AI and virtual agents.
- Applying AI for automated accessibility checks and inclusive design practices.
- Using AI tools to streamline prototyping, testing, and iterative design.
- 2+ years of professional experience in relevant fields.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or teaching others.
- Passion for shaping the skills, minds, and careers of learners.
- Strong communication skills.
