The Role
As a Senior Product Designer at Farther, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our innovative wealth advisor platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive, impactful, and accessible designs that help wealth advisors manage and grow their clients' portfolios. We’re looking for a passionate and creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
Your Impact
Lead the end-to-end design process, from discovery to prototyping, ensuring alignment with the needs of wealth advisors, their clients, and internal teams Collaborate with product and engineering to define user-focused features and drive impactful design solutions Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate and improve design concepts Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs to bring ideas to life Maintain and evolve the design system for consistency across all touch points Foster a culture of design excellence and provide feedback to elevate team skills Champion a design-first mindset, balancing user needs with business objectivesThe Ideal Match
5+ years of experience as a product designer, with a portfolio demonstrating work on web and mobile platforms Experience designing for fintech, wealth management, or financial services Proven experience leading the design of complex, data-driven products with a focus on user experience Strong proficiency in Figma and other design tools Expertise in user research, usability testing, and iterative design Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to present design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersBonus Points
Familiarity with front-end development and effective collaboration with scrum teams. Experience with design systems and understanding the value of consistency in design. Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. Experience mentoring and leading designers in a fast-paced startup environment.Why Join Us
