Senior Product Designer

Job Description

Farther is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape the user experience of its wealth advisor platform. The designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create designs that help wealth advisors manage and grow their clients' portfolios. This role is based in New York City and requires a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the end-to-end design process, from discovery to prototyping.
• Collaborating with product and engineering to define user-focused features.
• Conducting user research and usability testing.
• Creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs.
• Maintaining and evolving the design system.
• Fostering a culture of design excellence.
• Championing a design-first mindset.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a product designer.
• A portfolio demonstrating work on web and mobile platforms.
• Experience designing for fintech, wealth management, or financial services.
• Proven experience leading the design of complex, data-driven products.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
• Expertise in user research, usability testing, and iterative design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
