​​About the Role:

As the Senior Director of 503B Manufacturing, you will report to the VP of Innovation & Compounding Operations and will be responsible for overseeing & managing all aspects of the company’s 503B operations. The Senior Director of 503B Manufacturing is expected to expand the operation with the necessary capability, capacity and culture to operate the facilities to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You Will:

Provides leadership & resources to 503B manufacturing GMs Align operational objectives and drive results with key stakeholders in Product Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Finance, Planning, and Logistics. Ensure Manufacturing Operations remain compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements. (e.g. Safety, Quality/cGMP, Environmental, Financial, Legal, HR.) Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives and strategy coming from leadership team Ensure that a robust control system exists to manage the business, identify compliance issues and escalate issues appropriately is established and maintained Establish & monitor production metrics & drive improvements in operational effectiveness & efficiency through new technologies & processes Lead workforce & labor relations planning activities Lead the development and management of department budget and long-range plans Partners with cross functional leaders to implement long term plans for facilities to maintain manufacturing capacity & processes  Monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks and resource gaps, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the 503B manufacturing team leaders through direction and feedback, ensuring team cohesion, professional growth, and accountability Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, personal ownership, integrity, and results.  Be a strategic thought partner to functional LT members to advance key initiatives and execution of plans and priorities and attainment of goals Build alignment and collaboration with cross functional partners to ensure the successful execution of the Operational strategy.

You Have:

Proven experience (at least 15+ years) in manufacturing leadership within the 503B outsourcing, 503A compounding, pharmaceutical or supplement manufacturing sectors Bachelor’s degree or higher in manufacturing, engineering or related field with strong business acumen Demonstrated track record of building, leading, managing manufacturing within growing businesses Experience with building, scaling and implementing new manufacturing processes, cGMP experience is preferred Strong business acumen and the ability to align operational strategies with overall business objectives. Must be able to work closely with the Site Leadership team to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and internal decision making processes, and be able to connect and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on site. Organized, methodical, proactive & concise communication, analytical thinking and sharp problem-solving skills Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments Travel requirement 50%

Conditions of Employment: 

This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required. This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR). Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. An estimate of the current salary range is

$230,000 - $255,000 USD
