Rocket Lab is seeking a Team Lead - Operational Data to lead a team of up to 8 engineers. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, services, and tools that support data indexing, retrieval, visualization, and automation of critical company processes. They will also refine software solutions, optimize existing infrastructure, and establish clear benchmarks for project completion and team performance.Role involves::

Requirements:
  • Tertiary diploma, certificate, or degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience leading software development teams.
  • Product definition and development experience.
  • Proficiency in agile development practices.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking tools like Jira or Redmine.
  • Python programming skills with data analysis libraries and tools.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
