Capping Operator, 3rd Shift

Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Capping Operator to support aseptic filling operations at its Bloomington, Indiana facility. This role involves staging and delivering components, performing in-process testing, operating capping equipment, inspecting filled units, reconciling batch counts, and conducting terminal sterilization, all while adhering to cGMP/GDP standards.

Role Responsibilities:
• Operate automated terminal sterilizers
• Perform product weight verification
• Perform routine cleanup, line clearances, and sanitizations
• Maintain organization within classified areas
• Perform routine verification of equipment and instruments
• Setup and operate capping equipment
• Assist in the training and development of other team members

Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months of previous Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
• Ability to understand, speak, read and write English
