Overview:

As a Senior Recruiter, you will contribute to building effective and clear recruitment strategies and policies. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing the interview process and offer negotiations. You will oversee a respectful and positive candidate experience, aligned with our employer branding. You will operate as a trusted advisor, working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective recruiting processes. 

To be successful in this role at VGV, you must be proactive, resourceful, and exercise strong analytical and people skills. You must build trusted relationships with our leaders, and be comfortable advocating based on your expertise and proposing new approaches to improve processes and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of business and technical roles, including Software Engineers, Business Development, Growth Marketing, Strategists, Designers, Product and Program Management.  Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.   Partner with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements and provide guidance throughout the hiring process. Manage the interview process, including scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Negotiate offers as necessary and close deals, ensuring competitive compensation packages and timely onboarding. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates, and external partners. Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruiting. Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and initiatives. Participate in employer branding activities and networking events. Track and report on key recruitment metrics.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in the tech industry.   Proven track record of successfully filling technical roles. Strong understanding or interest in technical skills and roles. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Excellent sourcing and networking skills. Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.   Passion for finding and hiring top talent. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience recruiting outside the US and for technical roles Experience in hypergrowth, and seeing what “good” looks like (or doesn’t) Candidates who bring fresh perspectives or transferable skills outside of recruitment, for example: sales, HR, marketing, project management, engineering, product, ect.

Total Rewards:

VGV wants all employees to be supported in their personal and professional development, so we take a comprehensive approach to compensation and benefits. The initial annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $110k - $150k. We benchmark every role based on location and against comparable companies to ensure competitiveness; however, actual compensation is highly dependent on numerous factors such as location, experience, knowledge and skills, qualifications and other job-related factors.
