Job Description

KBRA is seeking a Compliance Associate to support their Compliance Department in maintaining regulatory compliance and ethical standards. The role is based in KBRA’s New York City office and requires a proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills.

Role involves:

  • Assisting with day-to-day compliance operations.
  • Conducting compliance monitoring activities.
  • Preparing responses to regulatory queries.
  • Assisting with compliance reports for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
  • Conducting research on compliance-related topics.
  • Developing and organizing training materials.
  • Assisting in maintaining and updating policies and procedures.
  • Working on ad-hoc compliance projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in compliance, financial services, or a regulatory environment (internship experience may be considered).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach.
  • Credit rating agency and/or Capital Markets experience a plus.
  • An advanced degree (JD, MBA, MPA) is a plus and may substitute for work experience.
