Job Description
Verkada is seeking a People Partner to join their growing People team. This role is the first People Partner in Verkada's NYC office. The People Partner will work closely with a specific business group and its executive leadership to develop and execute people strategies that enhance performance, growth, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and employees.
- Problem-solve and implement strategic programs.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Coach managers to enhance their leadership capabilities.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
- Drive cross-company programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8+ years experience in HR/People Business Partner role or related.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business acumen.
- Data-driven decision maker & strong problem solver.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
