Job Description

Verkada is seeking a People Partner to join their growing People team. This role is the first People Partner in Verkada's NYC office. The People Partner will work closely with a specific business group and its executive leadership to develop and execute people strategies that enhance performance, growth, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives and employees.
  • Problem-solve and implement strategic programs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coach managers to enhance their leadership capabilities.
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
  • Drive cross-company programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years experience in HR/People Business Partner role or related.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Data-driven decision maker & strong problem solver.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
