Job Description
Monzo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Barcelona, Spain. Monzo is on a mission to make money work for everyone, waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with a squad of professionals, including product managers, designers, and analysts, to build and support a particular part of Monzo.
Role Involves:
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Building and supporting a part of Monzo
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backend development
- Product mindset with a focus on customer outcomes
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments
- Interest in distributed systems and resilient software
- Experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala etc.)
