âThe Role ⌠Weâre looking for an inspiring leader to guide our growing team of FinCrime, Fraud & Disputes Change Partners at Monzo. In this role, you'll help drive a range of change activity, making sure that we protect our customers and stop financial crime on our platforms.
â What youâll be working on
Guiding and supporting a team of Change Partners, while also taking the lead on delivering your own initiatives. Working closely with a range of stakeholders including, Operations, Risk Control Owners and Product Squads, to manage workloads and ensure key milestones are met. Representing your team in forums, sharing progress and addressing any risks or issues transparently. Collaborating with the FinCrime Leadership Team and Senior Manager - FinCrime, Fraud & Disputes Change to implement and embed changes. Adapting quickly to changing priorities and managing competing demands effectively, including prioritising work across the team and assigning team members to projects accordingly. Championing the embedment of a continuous improvement culture across the FinCrime Collective. Supporting the development of your people, maintaining a high-performing, motivated team while demonstrating Monzoâs values.đYouâll play a key role byâŚ
Managing workloads and prioritising tasks for your team. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness, supporting the delivery of a continuous improvement culture in the Collective. Ensuring that the team is fully versed in Ops readiness activities and how to deploy change effectively. Working with Ops Leadership and Product Squads to ensure changes are understood and approved before launch. Collaborating with Risk & Compliance to assess the impact of regulatory changes. Working with colleagues in similar roles in other Collectives to share and develop best practice, and embed this within the team Providing regular updates in FinCrime Collective forums and maintaining open communication with stakeholders. Leading regular team meetings and 1:1s to keep your team engaged and on track. Mentoring and coaching your team to support their development.đ¤ŠWeâd love to hear from you ifâŚ
You have strong project/change management skills, with experience of embedding a continuous improvement culture. You have proven leadership skills in a fast-paced, diverse environment. You are experienced in managing high volumes of work and multiple priorities. You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to spot trends and write clear proposals. Youâve got a hands-on attitude with a willingness to support colleagues on various tasks. Youâve got enthusiasm for our mission at Monzo. You are familiar with supporting the launch of new products or large campaigns. Youâre a confident communicator with senior stakeholders across various domains. Youâve got the ability to help design excellent operational processes. You have Previous experience in Financial Crime is desirable but not essential.âł This role will be advertised for 2 weeks.
