Job Description
Auctane is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales and adoption of ShipEngine API solutions. This individual contributor role involves sourcing, negotiating with, and signing enterprise-level corporate accounts.
The Account Executive will work closely with the Solutions Architect and is responsible for managing relationships with C-level and technical decision makers.
The role involves:
- Achieving sales goals to increase ShipEngine Users, usage, shipments volume and revenue.
- Building a prospect pipeline.
- Conducting on-site visits with qualified prospects.
- Closing business to exceed quarterly metrics.
- Creating and executing sales strategies for targeted accounts.
- Forecasting revenue and course-correcting when needed.
- Qualifying leads and identifying customer business needs.
The requirements are:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in a customer-facing outbound sales role.
- 3+ years of SaaS software or equivalent sales experience.
- 2+ years of e-commerce experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, shipping, and/or B2B SaaS products.
- API understanding preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce.com CRM, and prospecting tools.
