Job Description

Auctane is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive sales and adoption of ShipEngine API solutions. This individual contributor role involves sourcing, negotiating with, and signing enterprise-level corporate accounts.

The Account Executive will work closely with the Solutions Architect and is responsible for managing relationships with C-level and technical decision makers.

The role involves:

  • Achieving sales goals to increase ShipEngine Users, usage, shipments volume and revenue.
  • Building a prospect pipeline.
  • Conducting on-site visits with qualified prospects.
  • Closing business to exceed quarterly metrics.
  • Creating and executing sales strategies for targeted accounts.
  • Forecasting revenue and course-correcting when needed.
  • Qualifying leads and identifying customer business needs.

The requirements are:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing outbound sales role.
  • 3+ years of SaaS software or equivalent sales experience.
  • 2+ years of e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, shipping, and/or B2B SaaS products.
  • API understanding preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce.com CRM, and prospecting tools.
