Solo is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in EMEA to join their team. As a pre-sales technical professional, the candidate will align customer's technical challenges with their outcomes. This role involves working alongside Sales Executives to provide technical overviews of Solo's solutions to customers, offering architectural guidance, and leading proof-of-concept implementations. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers, sales teams, and product teams, while also contributing to the evangelization of Solo.io products.

Role involves:

  • Understanding customer’s technical challenges and helping them achieve desired outcomes using Solo.io products.
  • Leading discovery calls to understand customer challenges related to cloud migrations, microservices, and legacy infrastructure.
  • Delivering product presentations, demos, and workshops.
  • Planning and executing proof of concepts to validate Solo.io solutions.
  • Proactively guiding customers through architectural challenges and integration of cloud-native platforms.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, sales teams, and product teams.
  • Evangelizing Solo.io products through speaking engagements and content creation.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting a technical sales process.
  • Experience building automation using GitOps.
  • Any experience of supporting Istio Service Mesh or Envoy a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for events, training, and customer meetings.
