Business Continuity Associate

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Business Continuity Associate to join their Operational Risk Team. This team is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and reporting non-investment risks across the firm. The Business Continuity Associate will contribute to the development, maturation, and management of all aspects of business resilience and crisis management. They will work closely with various departments to develop, maintain, and improve business continuity plans, strategies, testing, and training programs.

The role involves:

• Conducting business impact analyses to identify critical business processes, RTOs, RPOs.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of business continuity strategies and solutions.
• Collaborating with all departments to develop and document procedures in business continuity playbooks.
• Facilitating training and exercises to test the effectiveness of the business continuity playbooks.
• Coordinating emergency response and recovery efforts during disruptions.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Partnering with Compliance to ensure all business continuity related regulatory requests and deliverables are completed accurately and ahead of due date.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or a related field.
• Experience using a crisis/incident management software tool.
• Experience using a governance, risk and controls software to manage program requirements.
• Working knowledge of software like Workday, Salesforce, SharePoint, JIRA, JSM.
• A bachelor’s degree.
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
