Developer Relations Engineer

Job Description

Demandbase is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to support the adoption and integration of its API ecosystem. This role involves laying the groundwork for a future developer community and serving as a bridge between field teams and external developers.

The Developer Relations Engineer will provide technical guidance, develop educational programs, and create technical content such as documentation, tutorials, and code samples. They will also build relationships with partner engineers, represent Demandbase at industry events, and gather developer feedback to inform the API product roadmap.

This role offers the opportunity to shape a new developer program from the ground up and collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth API onboarding and long-term integration success.

What this role involves:

• Providing technical guidance and support on API implementation
• Designing and implementing developer education programs
• Creating technical content, including documentation and tutorials
• Leading technical workshops and training sessions
• Building and maintaining relationships with partner engineers
• Representing Demandbase at industry events
• Gathering developer feedback to inform the API product roadmap

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in developer relations, API evangelism, or related roles
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in API integration
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with B2B marketing technologies and account-based marketing concepts
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages
