Insights Consultant at Black Swan Data, Inc.

Black Swan Data is seeking an Insights Consultant to manage projects from client brief to delivery, leveraging Black Swan datasets to generate high-quality insights and analytics. The consultant will work with Financial Services Clients but will also work on CPG projects as the business requires. They will work alongside the Sales Director and Insight Director to define project scope and approach. A team of consultants and associates based in the Cape Town Insights Hub will support in analysis and delivery to meet agreed Client deadlines.

The consultant will engage in a creative research process where analytical rigor is just as important as curiosity about the world. They will be part of an engaging, fast-paced environment, working with a dynamic and social team.

Role Involves:

• Scoping and leading multiple projects simultaneously, from client briefing to delivery.
• Adapting Black Swan consulting services to the Financial Service market needs.
• Leading the team and providing feedback and guidance on deliverables.
• Conducting both data-led and qualitative analysis.
• Succinct reporting of analysis, identifying compelling insights.
• Actively participating in client and internal meetings.
• Sharing key learnings and best practices.
• Partnering with the Project Team & Insight Directors in scheduling & tracking project workload & progress by team member.

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree or post graduate qualification.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in a research/strategy agency.
• Experience working on Consumer Banking or Financial Services Clients.
• Excellent excel skills to analyse and manipulate large data sets.
• Exceptional communication skills.
