Practice Manager at Juno Veterinary

Juno Veterinary is seeking a Practice Manager to join their in-clinic team in Toronto. This role is crucial for ensuring the clinic operates optimally across all functions, including people management, patient care, and member experience. The Practice Manager will collaborate with the Lead Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to foster a cohesive and efficient team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and empower a diverse team.
• Manage team performance and ensure accountability.
• Own the appointment schedule and maximize productivity.
• Build effective teams through recruitment, onboarding, and talent identification.
• Identify development opportunities and provide regular feedback.
• Represent the team's perspective in leadership discussions.
• Collaborate to create a regular cadence of communication and meetings.
• Address member escalations and ensure prompt resolution.
• Implement Juno Brand Tenets to enhance job satisfaction and support teamwork.
• Create and manage clinic schedules, including DVMs.
• Participate in the evaluation of innovative technology.
• Approve and monitor timesheets for payroll.
• Manage relief coverage as needed.
• Aid in conflict resolution.
• Lead activities that support the well-being of the in-clinic team.
• Ensure inventory supply levels are adequate.
• Foster continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Previous veterinary experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Managerial courage and ability to prioritize team needs.
