Mobile Apps - Architect at Betsson Group

Betsson Group is seeking an experienced Architect to join their architecture team, focusing on native application development for iOS and Android platforms. The Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and robust solutions for Betsson's mobile applications. This role plays a critical part in driving Betsson Group's mobile strategy and ensuring high-quality app delivery to meet customer needs.

What this role involves:

• Providing architectural guidance to the whole Group, supporting various teams.
• Collaborating with Software Engineers and Product Managers to prioritize short- and long-term initiatives.
• Focusing on mobile native solutions while understanding their fit within the Betsson domain.
• Working closely with Area Architects, Tech Leads, and Team Leads.
• Leading mobile architecture discussions and decisions.
• Overseeing the quality of the development process.

Requirements:

• Evidence of experience working on large scale/high load platforms.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar, with a focus on iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) applications.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and mobile ecosystems.
• Experience with APIs and mobile backend integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent communication in English.
