Job Description
Smartsheet is seeking an experienced sales professional for the role of Account Executive, Commercial, in Sydney, Australia. The Account Executive will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, developing customer accounts, and managing sales motions with commercial customers. This role is part of the Commercial Sales team and reports to the Regional Director Sales.

The role involves:
  • Achieving revenue targets by exceeding sales quotas.
  • Developing and strategizing account plans.
  • Managing strategic sales motions and transactional opportunities.
  • Conducting needs assessment calls and product demonstrations.
  • Ensuring Smartsheet success in account retention and growth.
  • Consulting with clients to define collaboration goals and program strategy.
  • Managing a book of business for expansion and up-sell opportunities.
  • Providing support to customers and prospects.
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years proven sales track record, with 5+ years in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience managing customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Sales experience in a technology-oriented field.
  • Knowledge of sales cycle stages.
  • Ability to work with multiple functional departments.
  • Experience prospecting and managing a territory for revenue growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM software packages and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
