Associate Animation Content Developer

Job Description

Rockstar Games is seeking an Associate Animation Content Developer to join their team in Bengaluru, India. This is a full-time, in-office position where the individual will contribute to creating world-class entertainment experiences.

The Associate Animation Content Developer will work within a global animation team to enhance the believability of the game world by adding animation performance to in-game characters. They will use proprietary tools to add meta data, ensuring responsive performance while considering animation principles and gameplay constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the creation of tools to facilitate the use of proprietary animation technology.
• Supporting the Animation Team with implementation of animation assets into the game engine.
• Regular status reporting.
• Evaluating performance results and providing constructive feedback.
• Coordinating with other Rockstar studios and departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Art/Animation or equivalent experience.
• Outstanding demo reel.
• A good understanding of animation principles.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Adaptability to evolving tools, pipelines, and workflows.
• Ability to accurately report bugs.
