Sumo Logic is seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support their Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) sales team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about pursuing a career in sales.

As an SDR, the individual will play a critical role in Sumo Logic's sales process and in the success of the ANZ sales team by proactively identifying, nurturing, and creating new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, and prospect new customers
  • Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and networking
  • Engage with prospects, including C-suite and directors, to drive interest
  • Deliver targeted marketing content to prospects
  • Utilize a modern tech stack, including 6Sense, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Outreach, etc.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute a joint territory plan

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as an SDR, preferably in a SaaS sales environment or similar sales roles (Sales, BDR, etc.)
  • Proven track record in outbound lead generation and consistently over-achieving quotas
  • Strong hunter mentality: self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-organized with strong follow-through and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and be coached
  • Genuine passion for technology and sales
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus
