Archer, an aerospace company in San Jose, California, is seeking a Flight Test Data Operations specialist. This role is crucial for operating the telemetry room during flight tests and managing collected data.   • Operating the telemetry room during flight test
  • Ensuring proper management of the data collected during flight test
  • Installing, configuring, testing, and calibrating telemetry hardware
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting telemetry room hardware and software
  • Monitoring telemetry streams and performing quality control
  • Ensuring proper migration of flight test data
  • Maintaining configuration of IADS analysis windows for testing
  • Assisting in monitoring for parameter exceedances during flight
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with System and Network administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, RF Engineering, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of telemetry data source (i.e. IRIG CH10)
  • Troubleshooting multicast and broadcast data skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with Curtiss Wright IADS
Archer offers:
  • A base pay between $99,840 - $124,800
