Job Description

Huntress, founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, seeks a Principal Security Researcher to join their remote team. Huntress is committed to protecting all businesses with enterprise-grade security solutions. The ideal candidate will have broad experience, enjoys technical and psychological challenges, and wants to build effective security solutions against evolving threats by collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Security teams.

Responsibilities involve:

• Leading security capabilities and owning the layered defense strategy.
• Conducting research and development for threat detection and identity security.
• Hunting threat actors in Google Workspace.
• Testing attack paths and devising innovative fixes.
• Identifying and prototyping telemetry data and documenting research findings.
• Elevating cross-department relationships.
• Educating the public on security.

Requirements include:

• Expert knowledge and technical expertise in the Google ecosystem.
• Proof of Concept (POC) development
• Understanding of how MSPs utilize IT automation tools
