Forward Networks is seeking a highly driven Sales Engineer to expand its presence in the Japanese market. The successful candidate will partner with the Regional Sales Director to sell Forward Networks solutions to prospective and existing customers, working closely with partners.This role involves:
- Acting as the primary technical resource for the sales team, supporting large enterprise accounts.
- Serving as the product advocate and key technical advisor throughout the sale process.
- Leading and managing the technology evaluation phase, addressing technical questions and articulating both business and technical value to all management levels.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Assessing technical feasibility and qualifying potential deployment opportunities.
- Developing and delivering compelling product demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs).
- Responding to functional and technical aspects of RFIs and RFPs.
- Collaborating with internal product management and engineering teams to communicate customer requirements.
- Representing the product to customers and partners and at field events such as conferences and seminars.
- Strong understanding of networking and security solutions and vendors.
- Deep understanding of networking and security solutions, including key vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, focusing on needs analysis solution positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
- 5+ years’ experience selling to Enterprise customers for a networking company or relevant software vendor.
