Software Quality Engineer at Impact.com

Impact.com is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. The successful candidate will advocate for software testing best practices and instill a strong quality mindset within the team. This role involves working globally, across teams, and cross-functionally to maintain the highest quality for key customers.

The Quality Assurance Engineer at Impact.com will be responsible for:

• Hands-on software testing of bugs, features, and complex software systems
• Certifying the quality of new and modified functionality before release to customers
• Analyzing requirements and developing test plans
• Creating, revising, executing, and reviewing test cases, suites, and scenarios
• Monitoring system health
• Reviewing and reporting software defects
• Creating and maintaining test data
• Writing and maintaining automated tests
• Reviewing and actioning pull requests
• Writing and maintaining documentation
• Supporting multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Strong communication skills
• Solid programming skills
• An understanding of testing theory and methodologies
• An understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies
• The ability to quickly learn new systems and domains
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing
• At least 2 years of test automation experience using multiple testing frameworks
