Elite Technology is seeking a Financial Application Specialist to provide technical consultative Application Support for Elite’s 3E product. The role involves assisting customers to effectively utilize Elite 3E software to meet their firm’s business objectives in a non-call center environment. The Financial Application Specialist may be cross trained or involved in other product offerings over time.
The role is remote position based in Philippines and supports North American business hours.
What this role involves:
- Pulling service request tickets and documenting challenges.
- Using case management system to record all information.
- Replicating customer challenges using remote access utilities.
- Providing timely status updates and restorative actions.
- Recommending complex business process solutions.
- Maintaining dashboard management of service requests.
- Collaborating with peers to resolve customer issues.
- Actively seeking and sharing knowledge.
- Developing SQL skills.
- Helping clients adhere to accounting best practices.
- Performing remote troubleshooting and data mining.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Finance Analyst and/or Accounting and Finance
- 2+ years technical, financial, accounting and/or customer service experience with financial programs
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and or prior Legal industry accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server, MS office, Azure, Azure Monitoring, Smartsheet, IE, Chrome and relational database concepts is a plus
- Exceptional customer service soft skills with expertise in troubleshooting and solving complex problems
- Prior knowledge/experience in legal finance sector, professional services or similar financial systems environment
- Experience as a technical support engineer, application support analyst or application support engineer for a SaaS product or company is preferred
