Elite Technology is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to drive quality and testing strategies. The candidate will lead testing efforts, mentor junior engineers, and oversee test architecture. This remote role is based in Costa Rica.
Role involves:
- Leading test strategy and execution
- Architecting and maintaining test automation frameworks
- Driving quality standards and best practices
- Liaising with product managers
- Conducting root-cause analysis
- Mentoring junior team members
- Enhancing testing processes and tools
- Defining and tracking quality metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in quality assurance
- 5+ years of experience in test automation
- Expertise in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, API development, .NET Core)
- Experience with web application automation (UI and API), console applications, Windows forms, and cloud infrastructure
- Deep understanding of Selenium or similar frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, JUnit)
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Azure cloud platform
- Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps & Azure DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD)
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid foundation in crafting test plans and cases
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on cross-functional teams
