Credit Analyst at Zip Co Limited

Zip is seeking a Credit Analyst to join their Underwriting team in Sydney. The Credit Analyst will play a crucial role in upholding Zip’s ethical and responsible credit practices by leading credit analysis and decision-making for Zip's products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and provide excellent customer service as a brand representative. They will leverage data and technology tools to efficiently assess credit applications.

Role Involves:

• Assessing line of credit applications within credit policy guidelines.
• Analyzing application data to determine creditworthiness and approval amounts.
• Liaising with customers to ensure high-level credit analysis and decisioning.
• Improving credit risk and control standards to impact Zip’s commercial outcomes.
• Collaborating with peers and stakeholders to identify potential risks.
• Delivering quality and consistency in customer interactions.
• Assisting with ad-hoc credit-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven loans assessment experience (2+ years) in customer credit or banking sectors.
• Experience dealing with personal loans and credit cards is preferred.
• Experience with using Delegated Lending Authority.
• Deep understanding of Know Your Customer obligations.
• Sound problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Track record of exceeding targets and KPIs in a legislatively compliant environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts.
• Aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
