Zip is seeking a Product Designer for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Auckland, New Zealand. The Product Designer will be responsible for owning the design for Zip's NZ products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products for Zip customers.
The role will focus on customer and merchant journeys for the New Zealand business, new product iterations, and optimizing existing Pay In 4 journeys. The ideal candidate will be an end-to-end product designer with a strong understanding of customer data and visual design.
This role involves:
- Owning design for Zip's NZ products.
- Liaising with various teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Focusing on customer and merchant journeys.
- Optimizing existing Pay In 4 journeys.
Requirements:
- A self-starter with 4+ years working in interaction & product design
- Portfolio demonstrating app & web design experiences
- Passion for design thinking methods
- Attention to detail and a strong visual sensibility & interaction design
- Good communicator with storytelling abilities
- Experienced in managing and working with senior stakeholders
- Collaborative and can facilitate workshops & discussions
