Zip is seeking a Software Engineer - Full Stack to join its Technology function in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining platforms that enable customers to shop with confidence and merchant partners to grow their brands. This role is within the Acquisition team and contributes to the FY25 Engineering and Product roadmap.

Role Involves:

  • Working with modern cloud-based event-driven microservices architecture.
  • Supporting full-stack development projects, building highly scalable and robust solutions.
  • Cross collaborating with other Engineers, Designers, PMs etc within the technology teams.
  • Writing clean and testable code.
  • Participating in a culture that focuses on process improvement and technological innovation.

Requirements:

  • Advanced experience working in the backend with C# & .netcore 5+ or higher.
  • Experience working in the frontend with Angular or React.
  • Experience with any cloud technologies like AWS, GCP or Azure.
  • Familiarity with working with event-driven architecture/distributed systems.
  • Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and principles.
  • Flexibility, an open mind, curiosity and passion for learning.
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
