Job Description

Vectra.ai is seeking a Security Engineer (Pre-Sales) to join their team. The role involves collaborating with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to understand customer struggles and demonstrate the value of Vectra solutions. The successful candidate will help customers understand the power of Vectra’s Cognito platform, explain technical features, and problem-solve potential roadblocks.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with RSΜs to understand customer challenges and demonstrate Vectra's Cognito platform.
  • Be the domain expert on Vectra products, delivering demos and explaining features.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure optimal customer solutions.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Vectra's product line and industry trends.
  • Develop and foster strong technical relationships with customers and partners.
  • Work alongside other Vectra engineers on high-level projects.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Vectra's competitors.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of security-focused product lines (CASB, EDR, SIEM, or forensics).
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles (L3-L7 OSI layers).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about the security landscape.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and network architectures.
  • Startup DNA - willingness to do "whatever it takes".
  • Customer-first behavior.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Technical Account Management or Security Engineering role.
  • Large account management experience.
