Software Engineer

Job Description

Vectra AI, a leader in AI-driven threat detection and response, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing high-performance software to detect network-based attacks in real-time. This role involves interpreting product requirements into software designs, implementations, and tests, taking into consideration performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency. The engineer will also monitor, troubleshoot, and improve systems to deliver outstanding reliability to customers collaborate with other groups, provide technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret product requirements into software designs, implementations, and tests
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve systems
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Security Research and Data Science teams
• Provide technical leadership

Requirements:

• Growth mindset
• 3+ years professional C++ experience
• 3+ years developing software for Debian-based Linux
• Strong Python experience
• Knowledge of software design principles
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Strong communication & collaboration skills
• Willingness to get things done, take initiative, and own quality
