Job Description
Vectra AI is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This role involves testing software that aids in the detection of network-based attacks, requiring a deep understanding of software testing principles and practices. The Senior QA Engineer will be a leader in the team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers. They will collaborate with various teams, including Development, Product Management, and Data Science, to ensure the quality and simplification of security for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Utilize scripting and automation tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with network traffic generators like Ixia and Spirent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of QA testing experience in cybersecurity or networking.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles and practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive and willing to take initiative.
