Vectra AI is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their team. In this role, the engineer will bridge the gap between Vectra's technical teams and customers, translating complex security concepts into marketing materials and providing technical expertise during the sales cycle. This role involves working with cloud security technology, collaborating with teams to drive the success of Cloud Identity and Threat Detection & Response solutions.
Responsibilities:
Act as an internal technical expert, answering questions related to Cloud.
Demonstrate architecture and design skills in Cloud security.
Provide technical support to sales teams during customer engagements, addressing complex questions and showcasing product capabilities.
Create and maintain demo environments.
Influence product capabilities based on security needs and customer challenges.
Engage with customers to gather feedback and use cases.
Stay current with industry trends in cloud security.
Create technical content for sales, partners, and customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a technical role within the cybersecurity industry.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and major cloud platforms.
In-depth knowledge of identity and access management principles and technologies.
Familiarity with threat detection methodologies, SIEM systems, and incident response processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hands-on experience with relevant security tools and technologies.
Basic scripting and coding skills.
