Coursera, a large online learning platform, is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its team in the United Arab Emirates. The Sales Development Team is a critical component of Coursera's growth plan, with the SDR team responsible for all inbound and outbound engagement with prospective customers. The role involves generating interest in Coursera by contacting prospects, presenting solutions, and qualifying leads for the sales team. The SDR will work closely with sales and marketing teams to build a pipeline of business. Role involves:
  • Building a pipeline of leads for the sales team by qualifying outbound inquiries and reaching out to high-potential prospects.
  • Conducting effective discovery and qualification conversations with prospects.
  • Developing creative strategies for engaging and nurturing prospects using content, email, phone, social media.
  • Partnering closely with members of the sales and marketing teams.
  • Using frontline knowledge of customer needs to educate the broader team.
Requirements:
  • A degree or professional experience.
  • 1+ years of experience as an SDR/BDR.
  • Experience with sales and or marketing tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo or other software.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, quickly-changing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and listening skills.
  • Experience with high volume request and excellent time management skills.
  • Previous experience in an outbound sales environment.
