Coursera is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in India. The Machine Learning team plays a crucial role in shaping the future of education through AI technologies. The engineer will work closely with ML scientists to deploy models, solve engineering pain-points, and build scalable platforms.

The Machine Learning Engineer will contribute to the development of a next-generation education experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with ML scientists for model deployment.
• Build scalable infrastructure and pipelines for data processing.
• Automate ML workflows to enhance productivity.
• Partner with stakeholders to define a long-term vision for scaling ML/AI applications.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of Machine Learning Engineer experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL/MySQL.
• Experience in building large-scale ML applications.
• Understanding of system design of ML systems.
• Experience with distributed processing architecture (Spark, Databricks, Airflow, etc.).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
