Machine Learning Lead

Job Description

Loka is seeking a Machine Learning Team Lead to deploy, secure, and maintain ML models in production environments, mainly AWS. The ideal candidate should possess technical skills while contributing to Loka's culture.

The Role Involves:

• Leading a team of ML engineers in building and optimizing ML models.
• Providing team feedback and driving professional development.
• Managing end-to-end ML projects, from data exploration to deployment.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align ML initiatives with strategic objectives.
• Driving technical innovation within the team.
• Fostering the team's professional growth and a collaborative remote environment.
• Owning the development and automation of ML workflows.
• Ensuring cross-functional collaboration with other teams.
• Aligning ML initiatives with long-term company strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with 3+ years leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of Python, ML libraries, and frameworks (PyTorch, HuggingFace, TensorFlow).
• Hands-on experience with GenAI solutions using LLMs, including prompt engineering.
• Client-facing experience, including the ability to gather requirements and deliver technical presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent English language skills.
