Job Description
Loka, the 2024 AWS Innovation Partner of the Year, is seeking a Business Development Lead to join their team for a 3-month experiment. This role is designed to drive pipeline growth and strengthen Loka's position as a top AWS partner. The Business Development Lead will work with the CMO and sales team to unlock new opportunities through AWS-funded campaigns and strategic outreach.Role involves:
  • Generating and nurturing leads
  • Strengthening relationships with Loka and AWS sales teams
  • Helping architect a scalable BD process
  • Driving Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) through targeted AWS-funded campaigns
  • Identifying and nurturing new opportunities aligned with AWS funding programs
  • Building and managing a self-controlled pipeline
  • Providing weekly updates on lead generation, pipeline progress, and AWS feedback
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of business development or sales experience in the cloud, SaaS, or tech ecosystem
  • Experience working with AWS sales teams or cloud-focused campaigns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-driven with a focus on metrics, ROI, and strategic alignment
  • Comfortable working in a part-time, freelance capacity with minimal supervision
  • Availability during early and core US business hours
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
