Job Description

Loka is seeking a motivated Software Engineer or Cloud Account Manager to transition into an Associate Sales Lead role. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to advise businesses on appropriate technical solutions, diagnose cloud architecture challenges, and contribute to innovative projects as part of Loka's collaboration as an inaugural AWS Generative AI Partner. This role involves working remotely and enjoying every other Friday off.

The candidate will work alongside Loka Sales Leads to nurture and close high-value clients, assist in the end-to-end sales process, and build long-term relationships with stakeholders at AWS. Collaboration with the engineering team is essential for defining project scopes and ensuring successful solution delivery. The candidate will also represent Loka at industry events, enhancing visibility and expanding the company's network.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside Loka Sales Leads to nurture and close high-value clients.
  • Assisting in the end-to-end sales process from introduction to signature.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders at AWS virtually and in person.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to define project scopes and ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Working closely with sales leads, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of technical experience in engineering, AI/ML, data science, or related field.
  • Proven track record in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage diverse projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the month.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
