Job Description
Loka is seeking a Sales Associate (formerly Engineer or Cloud AM) to join their team and launch meaningful projects across a wide range of industries. The company values remote work and offers every other Friday off. This role is ideal for someone with an engineering or cloud account management background who is eager to transition into sales. The candidate will help businesses succeed by advising on the most appropriate technical solutions and diagnosing cloud architecture challenges. As an inaugural AWS Generative AI Partner, Loka offers a unique platform to leverage expertise and contribute to innovative projects.

The role involves:
  • Nurturing and closing high-value clients.
  • Assisting in the end-to-end sales process.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders at AWS.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to define project scopes.
  • Representing the company at industry events.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of technical experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage diverse projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the month.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
