The role involves working within a team of technologists, researchers, and traders to tackle complex technological challenges. The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the entire tech stack, from hardware to software development and grid computing. Role Involves:

  • Implementing research studies and simulating trading strategies.
  • Designing trading strategy simulation software optimized for distributed computing.
  • Developing software for large-scale data acquisition, storage, and visualization.
  • Maintaining and extending existing data analysis infrastructure.
  • Guiding junior engineers through mentoring and code reviews.
  • Creating user interfaces for data exploration and post-trade analysis.
  • Evaluating new technologies and improving the technology stack.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience in modern C++ and Python.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Ability to advise and collaborate with researchers on software engineering tools and practices.
  • Solid foundation in programming.
  • Skills in numerical computing, machine learning, and visual intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce algorithmic code in a fast-paced environment.
