Job Description

Sony Imageworks is seeking a Compositor to join their team in Montreal, Quebec. The Compositor will combine layers of pre-existing materials to create final images that meet the artistic direction of the project. This role involves integrating foreground, mid-ground, and background scenes to extend sets, scenes, environments, or effects, and incorporating digital characters or objects into scenes. The Compositor ensures a seamless transition between filmed sequences and composed content, while meeting efficiency and quota goals.

Requirements:

• Ability to composite various types of shots, from simple to moderately difficult
• In-depth knowledge of software packages, particularly Nuke
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively complex experience in production or feature film
• Must provide a demo reel showcasing relevant artistic and technical experience
