Job Description
Sony Pictures Imageworks Vancouver is looking for a skilled Compositor to join their team. This role involves combining various visual elements to create final images that meet the desired artistic direction. The Compositor will integrate foreground, mid-ground, and background scenes, ensuring seamless transitions between filmed footage and composited content. The role requires meeting productivity and quota targets.
Responsibilities include:
  • Combining layers of rendered animation, special effects, graphics, live action, and static background plates.
  • Integrating foreground, mid-ground, and background scenes.
  • Creating seamless transitions from filmed footage into composited content.
  • Meeting productivity and quota targets.
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant software, including Nuke.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • A demo reel showcasing relevant artistic and technical experience.
