Job Description

Sony Imageworks is seeking a Compositor for their Montreal, Quebec location. The Compositor will combine layers of materials to create final images, integrate scenes, and ensure seamless transitions. The role requires meeting efficiency and quota targets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Combining layers of rendered animation, special effects, graphics, live action, and static background plates.
  • Integrating foreground, mid-ground, and background scenes.
  • Creating seamless transitions from filmed footage into composited content.
  • Meeting efficiency and quota targets.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Ability to composite multiple types of shots.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nuke.
  • A 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate (preferred) or 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • A demo reel showcasing relevant artistic and technical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
