Sony Pictures Imageworks is offering an internship program for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a professional production environment. The intern will collaborate with talented teams on real-world projects and participate in workshops and training sessions. They will also attend mentorship sessions and networking events. The role provides insights into the creative and technical processes behind feature VFX & animated films. The intern will receive feedback from seasoned professionals to refine skills and develop their portfolio.
This internship is located on-site in Vancouver.
What this role involves:
- Collaborating with talented teams on real-world projects.
- Participating in workshops, training sessions, and hands-on activities tailored to your area of interest (e.g., Layout, Modeling, Rigging, Animation, CFX, FX, Lighting, and Compositing).
- Attending regular mentorship sessions and networking events.
- Gaining insights into the creative and technical processes behind feature VFX & animated films
- Receive feedback from seasoned professionals to help refine your skills and develop your portfolio.
Requirements:
- Recent graduation from a college/university or equivalent training program.
- A strong passion for animation and visual effects
- Demonstrated interest in problem-solving, collaboration, and learning new skills.
- Depending on your discipline, please include a demo reel, with project breakdowns showcasing your work in the case of group projects.
