A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Collections to lead and oversee the collections function. - Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Drive collections efforts to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to reduce delinquency rates and accelerate collections timelines.
- Assess and mitigate credit risks.
- Implement robust controls to prevent fraud and errors.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on collections performance.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Provide insights to senior management to inform decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in collections management.
- Proven track record in leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
