Senior Inventory Accountant at aCommerce

aCommerce is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant to join their team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role involves reconciling inventory-related general ledger balance sheet accounts, preparing and reviewing accounting data, and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Reconciling inventory related general ledger balance sheet accounts.
• Preparing and reviewing accounting errors, discrepancies, and reconciling items.
• Performing review of inventory reserve calculations.
• Preparing adjusting and month-end journal entries.
• Maintaining procedures to ensure transactions are executed according to authorization.
• Recommending process improvements.
• Maintaining accurate records of business transactions.
• Performing ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Assisting in or leading special projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, cost/inventory accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful, self-motivated, and independent.
• Comfortable managing multiple deliverables.
• Strong time management skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting controls and GAAP.
