Cashiering Associate

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Cashiering Associate to join its Global Client Payments & Cashiering team in Greenwich, CT. The Global Client Payments & Cashiering team oversees deposits and withdrawals for the brokerage’s 3mm+ clients in over 200 countries and across 25+ currencies. This is an entry-level position with significant opportunities for growth. The Associate will be expected to process incoming deposits, which include various global payment methods, and physical and mobile checks. The ideal candidate will be expected to be a problem solver, well-organized, and reliable team player. The role involves:

• Managing dedicated client deposit methods, such as physical check deposits.
• Monitoring and resolving client deposit exceptions.
• Interfacing with the bank to ensure proper processing of client deposits.
• Resolving transaction discrepancies between the firm’s internal systems and the bank statement.
• Working with compliance, risk, client service, and other internal groups to resolve client issues related to deposits and withdrawals.
• Implementing process and system improvements to the cashiering systems and payment methods.
• Participating in projects that help improve operations and enhance the client experience.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or other quantitative field.
• A high degree of comfort and fluency with computers and technology.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel is a plus.
