Interactive Brokers is seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to join their team in Mumbai. The analyst will be responsible for the validation, risk evaluation, processing, and reconciliation of corporate action-related events. The Corporate Actions Team Member will collaborate with internal and external clients, counterparties, clearing organizations and depositories.Responsibilities involve analyzing corporate action information, reconciling company records, interfacing with clearinghouses, collecting client instructions, working on system enhancements, and communicating with stakeholders.To succeed in this role, the candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in science, mathematics, or accounting and have 2 to 5 years of corporate action experience with knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and government securities. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.     Responsibilities
  • Analyze, monitor, and verify incoming corporate action information.
  • Analyze and reconcile the company's books and records with clearinghouses and banks.
  • Interface with clearinghouses and banks regarding instructions for corporate events
  • Collect and analyze instructions from our clients.
  • Work on system enhancements to handle existing or new products and new markets
  • Communicate with all the internal and external parties involved.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred: science, mathematics or accounting preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of targeted Corporate Action experience, preferably at a broker-dealer, but all experienced candidates will be considered
  • Knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and Government Securities
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Must possess excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
